Meet the Administrator

 

                    Mrs. Andrea Byers

 

I am excited about my role as principal at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School. I have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment. I am honored to embark on this journey alongside our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive community. I just finished my 20th year in Wilkes County Schools serving as educator, instructional specialist, and assistant principal. In addition to my elementary experience I have taught in middle school as a student teacher and have a degree in technology education, as well as, a masters in elementary education and school leadership.

 

Our theme this year, Bring the Joy In Your Journey, not only applies to our students but to our staff as well. We will be working hard to show growth this year and want to remember to stay positive while working hard. I am excited to see the great things our school will do this year.
