Music
Mrs. Ferguson teaches music using the First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege curriculum. Students learn music by sound first to train ears to hear pitch, steady beat, and rhythms. All students will learn folk music and folk dances throughout the year. The number one goal in music education is that students learn to be tuneful, beatful, and artful.
